Phase 10: World Tour gameplay is easy to understand, but deep. Each stage has specific requirements and rules, and players need to decide their next move based on the current card type and situation.
At each turn, the player can choose to play or touch a card. When playing cards, players need to show the required card type according to the requirements of the current stage. For example, if the current stage requires the collection of three identical cards, the player may choose to present three identical cards to complete the stage. When touching a card, a player can pick a card from the deck and add it to the hand.
Players need to be flexible in using their strategy to decide when to play and when to touch cards. Sometimes, the cards in the hand may not meet the requirements of the current stage, at which time the player can choose to touch cards to increase the selection of cards in the hand. Sometimes, however, a player may need to keep a particular card type for use in a later stage. Therefore, in the game, players need to weigh the pros and cons and make wise decisions.
After completing each stage, the player can proceed to the next stage until all stages are completed. The order of completion of the stages is fixed, and the player is required to complete the stages in a specified order. In each stage, the player can choose to skip the stage, but there is a corresponding penalty. Therefore, players need to consider their cards and the situation in order to decide whether to skip a stage.
